Why does an app ask for file or folder access?
Apps from the Mac App Store are sandboxed for your privacy and security. That means an app can only access files or folders that you explicitly choose or grant permission to.
Why can’t the app automatically access everything on my Mac?
macOS intentionally limits what apps can see and modify. This protects your files and prevents apps from quietly scanning your system without permission.
Why do I sometimes need to choose a folder again?
macOS permissions can occasionally need to be refreshed after system updates, moving folders, renaming drives, or changing external/network storage.
Do Sodini.io apps upload my files?
No. Apps do not upload your personal files unless a specific feature clearly says it does and you choose to use that feature.
Do the apps collect personal data?
Sodini.io apps are designed to collect as little data as possible. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
How do I request a refund?
App Store purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund through your Apple account purchase history.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@sodini.io with the app name, macOS version, what happened, and steps to reproduce the problem.
Can I request a feature?
Yes. Feature requests are welcome. Send ideas to support@sodini.io.

Some Sodini.io projects are open source. For open source projects, GitHub issues may be the best place to report technical problems, but you can always start by emailing support@sodini.io.
