These Terms govern your use of System Ready websites (e.g., sodini.io) and macOS apps we publish (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to any store terms that apply (including Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement).
If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
1) Who we are
System Ready is a developer project by James Sodini.

2) License & store terms
For apps obtained via the Mac App Store, your license is provided under Apple’s Standard EULA and these Terms. You may use the apps on devices you own or control for personal or internal business purposes. Don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer (except as permitted by law), resell, or use the apps to violate law or others’ rights.
3) App behavior & third-party components
- Perminator runs offline, in a macOS sandbox, and performs calculations on-device.
- Some apps (e.g., an SSH client) use network access only to perform the actions you request.
- We may include third-party libraries/SDKs for functionality (e.g., SSH/crypto, UI). Analytics and tracking features are not enabled.
- Open-source components are licensed under their respective licenses; attributions appear in-app or on our site.
4) Website usage
You may browse and use content we publish. Don’t attempt to access non-public areas, interfere with security/operation, or use the site to distribute malware or unsolicited communications.
5) Purchases & refunds
Paid apps are sold through the Apple App Store. Pricing, taxes, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms and policies.
6) Privacy
We keep data collection minimal. Our Privacy Policy explains details for apps and the website. By using the Services, you acknowledge that policy.
7) Acceptable use (short list)
Please do not:
- use the Services unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights;
- probe or bypass security;
- interfere with or overload the Services;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
8) Intellectual property
We retain all rights to our software, names, logos, text, and media, except for rights you receive under the applicable app license and open-source licenses we include.
9) Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES—INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Always validate configuration changes (e.g., file permissions) in your environment.
10) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE (AND OUR SUPPLIERS) ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid to us for the relevant app in the three months before the event. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limits; in those places, the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
11) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the Effective date and post the new version. Continued use after changes becomes effective means you accept the updated Terms.
12) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law rules.You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Washington for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services. If consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring claims locally, those rights remain.
